Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal design, with a focus on precision instrumentation, signal conditioning, and integrated circuit applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with design and simulation tools, such as PADS, LTSpice, or similar schematic capture software.
- Strong knowledge of mixed-signal simulation techniques and experience with PCB layout software.
- Solid understanding of signal integrity, impedance matching, and EMI/EMC design practices (e.g., RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810/461).
- Experience with Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) preferred; aviation industry design experience is a plus.
- Design and implement analog front-end circuits (amplifiers, ADC/DAC interfaces, filtering) for precise signal processing in instrumentation systems.
- Lead mixed-signal system integration to ensure reliable data conversion, filtering, and conditioning stages.
- Research and incorporate new components, technologies, and methods into both new and existing designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (layout, mechanical, software, certification engineers) to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Build, troubleshoot, and test hardware, using tools like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers, while creating detailed documentation for design verification, testing protocols, and BOMs.
