We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled I/O Checkout Technician  to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the validation and verification of input/output (I/O) systems, low-voltage wiring instrumentation, and light PLC modifications. You will work closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure the proper functionality and performance of our I/O interfaces.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the validation and verification of input/output (I/O) systems, low-voltage wiring instrumentation, and light PLC modifications. You will work closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure the proper functionality and performance of our I/O interfaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute test plans and procedures for I/O checkout
  • Configure and troubleshoot I/O hardware and software components, signal conditioning circuitry, and data acquisition systems.
  • Analyze test results and identify hardware and software issues related to I/O functionality.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to debug and resolve I/O related problems.
  • Document test procedures, results, and bug reports clearly and concisely.
  • Maintain and improve I/O test equipment and setups.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest I/O technologies and trends.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on I/O system design.
  • May involve some level of hardware bring-up and initial configuration.
  • Contribute to the development of automated test systems.

  • Light PLC Modifications
Qualifications:
  • Experience completing (not designing) hands-on I/O Checkout, testing etc.
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog electronics.
  • Experience with various I/O interfaces and protocols (e.g., Ethernet, PCIe, Serial, USB, CAN).
  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Experience with PLC Programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $24 - $40/hr
