We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled I/O Checkout Technician to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the validation and verification of input/output (I/O) systems, low-voltage wiring instrumentation, and light PLC modifications. You will work closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure the proper functionality and performance of our I/O interfaces.
Responsibilities:- Execute test plans and procedures for I/O checkout
- Configure and troubleshoot I/O hardware and software components, signal conditioning circuitry, and data acquisition systems.
- Analyze test results and identify hardware and software issues related to I/O functionality.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to debug and resolve I/O related problems.
- Document test procedures, results, and bug reports clearly and concisely.
- Maintain and improve I/O test equipment and setups.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest I/O technologies and trends.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on I/O system design.
- May involve some level of hardware bring-up and initial configuration.
- Contribute to the development of automated test systems.

- Experience completing (not designing) hands-on I/O Checkout, testing etc.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog electronics.
- Experience with various I/O interfaces and protocols (e.g., Ethernet, PCIe, Serial, USB, CAN).
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Experience with PLC Programming
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
