We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the plant. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage resources, drive continuous improvement, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Drives the long-range strategic planning process for manufacturing operations.
- Operations Oversight:
Oversees and manages all manufacturing operations, including:
- Manufacturing
- Production Control
- Product Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Equipment Engineering
- Inventory Control
- Potential materials functions (e.g., purchasing)
- Shipping/receiving activities
- Goal Setting & Problem Solving: Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in collaboration with managers of manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and sales.
- Customer Focus: Translates customer requirements into advanced manufacturing strategies and processes for cost-effective and profitable product manufacturing.
- Planning & Budgeting: Develops operations-related plans, budgets, policies, and procedures.
- Compliance: Maintains safety and regulatory compliance within the production facility.
- Personnel Management: Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient function operation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in plant operations management
- Proven track record of success in achieving production targets, managing costs, and improving safety performance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
