THE POSITION…
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the quality systems for manufacturing and repair functions. You will develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that products and services consistently meet quality standards and comply with domestic and global regulatory standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be adept at analyzing quality control procedures, identifying issues and creating solutions, while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement. You’ll be an important part of the process that keeps our customers flying!
THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF…

You have a high school diploma or GED.

You have a minimum 5 years experience in quality management.

You have a minimum 10 years experience working in a quality role in an aviation industry.

You have a working knowledge of quality systems in relation to FAA and AS9100 standards, and quality improvement tools.

Experience or understanding of a robust supplier quality program.

You are proficient with Microsoft Office.

You have strong attention to detail.

You are organized, focused and results oriented.

You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.

You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (but it’s not a deal breaker)

You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

You have previous experience in an organization with ODA authorization.

You have previous experience with obtaining or maintaining Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) or Product Manufacturer Approval (PMA) programs.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT…

Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products and services meet the required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery

Manage and ensure effective inspection throughput and standardization of receiving inspection, repair station, and manufacturing functions

Coach, develop, motivate, and mentor direct reports

Oversee First Article Inspection in accordance with AS9102 standard

Develop and report metrics that drive appropriate actions to improve processes including root cause and corrective actions

Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven analysis and industry best practices

Prepare for and manage onsite audits to include hosting external customer and regulatory auditors

Interface with all major aircraft manufacturers and owner operators

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, customer support, and other departments to communicate and integrate quality methodologies
