Requirements: 
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Bring at least 5 years of experience in quality management, with a solid background in the aviation industry.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in quality roles, particularly within aviation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in quality systems, specifically in compliance with FAA regulations and AS9100 standards, along with proficiency in quality improvement methodologies.
  • Ideally, have experience with supplier quality programs, a relevant bachelor's degree, and previous involvement in organizations with ODA authorization or with obtaining and maintaining STC or PMA certifications.
Duties:
  • Establish and oversee processes to ensure products and services meet quality, functionality, and reliability standards before delivery.
  • Supervise and optimize inspection workflows, ensuring consistency across receiving inspections, repair stations, and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team, fostering growth, motivation, and performance excellence.
  • Manage First Article Inspections in compliance with the AS9102 standard.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing data, implementing corrective actions, and reporting key metrics, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality best practices.
